Elopement in Tuscany

Molly and Rob traveled from America to Italy for their elopement in Tuscany.

The elopement is an ancient ceremony that recently has spread more and more especially among foreign couples, mostly American. Literally “to elope” means “to run away” so you can say it’s a sort of a love escape: the couple decides to marry at the presence of the sole officiant or a small circle of friends or family.

For their elopement in Tuscany, groom and the bride decided to celebrate only with the officiant and me as a photographer. It was really magical. The location chosen by Molly and Rob is the Andana Resort, completely surrounded by nature in the heart of the Maremma. Hills, vineyards and tree-lined avenues were the setting for this romantic ceremony, just before sunset. The two newlyweds experienced lots of emotions, especially Rob who was moved several times by looking at the wonderful Molly and declaring his love.

A wonderful light surrounded this elopement in Tuscany. During the couple session, Molly and Rob let go of the tension of the ceremony and enjoyed moments of pure fun and love; natural and Intimate moments to point out their marriage vows. I met Molly through a videocall in which we talked a lot especially about what she wanted for her elopement in Tuscany and she always talked about Rob and their story in an emotional way, so that the love she felt could be reflected in a screen over 6500km away. I can confirm the purity in their feelings, I saw it with my own eyes and I was so lucky to have the opportunity to capture them with my camera.

The best shots ever!! Amazing elopement photographer!! I found Luisa on Instagram when looking for a photographer for our elopement in Tuscany. Having never met we were of course a little nervous but she was so easy to work with, and the photos were simply STUNNING! She captured the romantic feel of the day beautifully and her ability to capture the beautiful surroundings as well as our intimate moments are what we hired her for. If you are looking for a photo journalistic style, look no further. Thank you for pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime Luisa!
